Raden Ajeng Kartini Djojo Adhiningrat is RA Kartini's full name. He was born on April 21, 1879 in Mayong, Jepara, Central Java. His father's name was Raden mas Adipati Ario Sosroningrat who was the regent of Jepara. Kartini is a noble descent. This can be seen from the pedigree of immigrants. Kartini is the daughter of the first wife, but not the main wife. His mother's name was M.A Ngasirah who was the daughter of Nyai Haji Siti Aminah and Kyai Haji Madirono who was a religious teacher in Telukawur, Jepara.
